Overview

NTG’s next generation WatchdogCP™ Mesh Remote Monitoring System once again raises the technology and reliability standard that was set in 2007 with NTGs wireless sensors and powerful website. NTGs “Wireless Mesh Technology” has virtually eliminated lightning damage to the system. It allows unparalleled configuration flexibility so users can economically scale installations to any site requirement. The powerful web interface simplifies multiple rectifier GPS-synchronized interruption, group polling, and automatic report and file generation for compliance reporting.

The WatchdogCP™ Mesh Remote Monitoring System is an expandable system for CP rectifier and test point monitoring and data acquisition. The starting point is the WatchdogCP Mesh Base Station, which monitors up to 16 wireless analog channels and 5 digital inputs. It communicates via GSM cellular or Inmarsat satellite to the Pipeline Watchdog Web Monitor.

Start with simple volts / amps rectifier monitoring and add GPS synchronized interruption at any point. Or add wireless channels to monitor multiple negative current shunts. You can even use a single base station to monitor and interrupt two, three, or even four rectifiers closely spaced in a terminal or tank farm.

Module size	5.5” x 2.5” x 1.2” (14 x 6 x 3 cm). Multiple nodes can be deployed to meet any application requirement up to 16 channels per base unit.
Interrupter Module
Description	“WatchdogCP Mesh Interrupter” GPS synchronized rectifier interruption system. Multiple range input power (115V/230V AC, 13V-25V AC, 11V-35V DC). Programmable, timed, true “instant off” potential readings.
Relay Options	60 Amp mercury relay. 100 Amp mercury relay. 60 Amp AC “Fail-Safe” solid-state relay system with 60 Amp mercury bypass relay. 100 Amp DC “Fail-Safe” solid-state relay system with 100 Amp mercury bypass relay.
Packaging / Enclosure Options	Standard Option - Base Station housing: 6” X 8” X 4” IP-67, NEMA 4X enclosure, remaining components designed for installation inside the rectifier enclosure. Integrated Enclosure Option – All system components installed in a 16”X14”X6” IP-67, NEMA 4X enclosure, pre-linked and prewired for simplified installation (strongly recommended for systems including the interrupter option).
